Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala では VMware Workstation 6.5 が正常に動かなかったので、解決策をネットで探してたら、いつの間にか VMware Workstation 7 のベータ版(RC?)が公開されていたのを発見しました。 http://communities.vmware.com/community/beta/workstation
試してみたら、何の問題もなくサクッと動いて拍子ぬけ。
